The course consists of five theoretical and practical lessons,each led by a professor from the Italian Sommelier Foundation. During each class you will taste 3 wines
1a Lezione Viticoltura ed enologia.
2a Lezione La degustazione del vino. Analisi sensoriale visiva, olfattiva e gustativa.
3a Lezione Accostare il cibo al vino. Tecnica dell’abbinamento.
4a Lezione National ethnography. Sparkling wine.
5a Lezione Le funzioni del Sommelier. Lo stile nel servizio del vino.
The Champagnethe best-known wine in the world, analysed and examined through a unique educational journey.
Four lessons on historical, technical and organoleptic aspects of the part of the winemaking business that continues to maintain the absolute record in terms of sales, status and number of enthusiasts. A tasty route through the geography of the Champagne region, from the Montagne de Reims, to the Vallée de la Marne, from the Côte des Blancs to the interesting and more recently developed Aube.
Each lesson will be guided by a professor from the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier and will culminate with a tasting of 4 Champagnes, chosen in accordance with the theme of the lesson., scelti in assonanza al tema della lezione
1a Lezione The genesis and history. From Champagne wines to Méthode Champenoise: False myths, stereotypes, great truths.
2a Lezione Production chain, regulations and styles. The great fashion houses and the culture of assembly; the vignerons and the culture of the soil.
3a Lezione La Vallée de la Marne e La Montagne de Reims.
4a Lezione La Côte des Blancs e Aube.
Distillates are made by concentrating alcohol and aromas contained in fermented material through the distillation technique. Based on very ancient traditions, distillates almost always have humble origins—they were originally the result of recycling waste or surplus raw material. Today, however, they can be quite refined, and those who learn to appreciate and taste them properly with awareness and moderation experience sublime sensory pleasure.
Each lesson will be guided by a professor from the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier and will culminate with a tasting 4 distillateschosen in accordance with the theme of the lesson.

Beer is an expression of a great culture and a manifestation of an excellent tradition. Unsurprisingly, its admirers are growing in number around the world.
The Fondazione Italiana Sommelier course on beer is designed to dispel old clichés, to broaden the wealth of knowledge and to discover the history and styles of the many existing beers as we take a look at the most significant beers produced in Italy and the rest of the world.The course will consist of 4 classes,each taught by a professor from the Italian Sommelier Foundation, during which we will taste 16 different beers.
